As an instructor at the University of North Alabama it is imperative that I graduate practically proficient practitioners in the public relations industry and surveying the current environment so that I may better equip my students with the tools they need to be successful upon graduation. I teach or have taught the following courses: COM201, COM205, COM230, COM374, COM410, and COM411. I am the faculty advisor for Lion PR, our public relations pre professional student organization that is affiliated with the following professional public relations organizations: PRSA, SPRF, PRCA, and NAPRCA. In Fall 2021, I assisted in the research of student-run PR agencies with PR faculty and serve as an advisor to UNA’s first student-run PR firm, Mane Agency. Additionally I serve on the following committees within my department: Recruitment (Chair), Activities (Chair), and Research and Scholarship (Chair). Finally, I serve as Lead Instructor for Education Abroad Montreal.
