ABOUT TORUNN YOCK
I am a pediatric radiation oncologist but have experience in thoracic, lymphoma, CNS, and sarcoma radiation oncology. I lead a multi-institutional and national Pediatric Radiation Registry called the Pediatric Proton/Photon Consortium Registry (PPCR, pedsprotonregistry.org). I have a robust research program funded by the NIH and foundation grants that is focused on the health outcomes in patients treated with radiotherapy. I am the Principal Investigator of multiple pediatric protocols, holding grant funding from a variety of sources including the NCI. I have authored over 150 articles and chapters and am an active member of ASTRO, regularly teaching the pediatric section of the ASTRO refresher course. In September 2019 I was inducted as an ASTRO Fellow (FASTRO). I am well known as a pediatric radiation oncologist expert and collaborate widely with colleagues around the world. I currently serve on a variety of committees helping to forward the National Childhood Cancer Registry as part of the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative, a National effort to improve cancer treatment and outcomes for pediatric cancer patients.
