About Chris Torma
I lead through connection—building trust across teams, creating space for honest conversation, and helping people navigate complexity without losing sight of what matters. Right now that looks like leading a team of SRE consultants at Ticketmaster, driving reliability and resilience across a global organization. But the throughline has been the same across every role I’ve held: figure out how to make the work sustainable, and bring people along in the process.I spent years on stage before I ever touched a change management process—learning to read a room, trust an ensemble, and stay present when things go sideways. That foundation shows up in how I lead today. I’m drawn to the connective tissue of organizations: the places where communication breaks down, where silos form, where good intentions get lost in translation. That’s where I tend to be most useful.
Experience
Engagement Lead, Central Sre Consulting
Jul 2024 — Present
This role is the natural extension of everything that came before—except now instead of building and running the thing, I\'m helping other teams get better at building and running theirs.I lead a team of SRE consultants embedded across Ticketmaster\'s engineering and product organizations. My job is to make sure those engagements actually deliver value: scoping the work, matching consultants to teams, navigating the politics, and staying close enough to each engagement to know when something needs to shift. When technical insight is needed, I loop in my team. When the blocker is organizational, that\'s usually mine to sort out.The Third-Party Risk Management work for the AI tooling rollout was a good example—our consultant needed to stay focused on implementation, so I stepped in to shepherd the compliance process through its gates. Not my usual lane, but familiar enough territory, and it kept the work moving. Also serving as a Ticketmaster Ambassador—an internal program focused on bridging conversations across teams, gathering feedback, and strengthening culture in a global hybrid workplace. Connective tissue work, which is where I tend to be most useful.
