ABOUT TORI RITZ

I currently live in Midland. I have been in the operating room for 16 years, Love what I do! Started out as a Circulator in the operating room and worked in all areas: neuro, hearts, General, ortho, plastics, and robotics. I was previously the General, GYN, Urology, and Robotics Coordinator in Lubbock at Covenant. I have experience as clinical coordinator, charge nurse, and supervisor. I graduated with my BSN in May 2019 and plan to graduate with my MSN in Administration in 2025. I have been the Director of Surgical Services since March of 2020 for Steward. I have gained so much experience with the many hats I wear at work. I also added the role of Director of Nursing Operations in August 2023. With my new role, I have been apart of starting the Wound Care Center at the hospital. I have loved being involved with the start up and being apart of each step of the way! I now over see the Wound Care Center and continue to grow in this department! In March of 2025, I am excited to say I accepted the CNO position at SMMC! I am excited and blessed for these opportunities! Looking forward to continue gaining experience and growing in leadership roles!
