After sixteen years in the Norwegian Army, I transitioned into the defense and technology industry, where I have worked at the intersection of engineering, program management, and international business development.Since moving to the United States in 2007 to help establish and grow Vingtech (now American Rheinmetall Systems) — where I served as Vice President of Programs and Sales — I have held senior management roles in both Norwegian and U.S. companies, focusing on trans-Atlantic cooperation, U.S. Government contracting, and technology transfer programs.My career combines two complementary perspectives — a Norwegian military and industrial foundation, and nearly two decades of hands-on leadership experience within the U.S. defense sector. This blend provides a unique ability to bridge people, cultures, and organizational norms across both nations, enabling effective collaboration and mutual understanding.Through Tauri LLC, I now advise and support Norwegian defense and technology companies entering the U.S. market — helping them navigate business development, compliance (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, CFIUS), and Government engagement. The focus is on modular, lightweight, and reliable solutions that improve operational flexibility and handling for professional users.I lead and manage all U.S. activities, including business development, customer engagement, and cooperation with the U.S. defense industry and government stakeholders.
