I have a passion for and strong background in finance. My core competence is in understanding drivers for shareholder value and moving organizations to deliver on such drivers. I am curious to experiencing new things, expanding my horizon and thrive on working in a setup where I can work on a diverse range of topics.As VP Strategy and Strategic Projects, I am responsible for driving all strategic initiatives for GEA\'s Heating and Refrigeration Technologies Division. Typical projects include strategy development and implementation, M&A projects as well as performance improvement initiatives. Prior to this role I was responsible for business development of the division. I joined GEA in July 2017 in the M&A department focused on developing and executing the companies M&A strategy.Before joining GEA I worked in Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt and London for some 10 years. Most recently I held the position of Director and focused on originating and executing M&A and capital markets projects in Germany and Austria. My advisory work centered on strategic transactions across a broad range of sectors and included direct personal responsibility for 12 investment banking analysts and associates.I received a Master of Science in Business (Diplom Kaufmann) from European Business School (ebs), Oestrich-Winkel (Germany) as well as an MBA from Katz Business School, Pittsburgh (US). I am a CFA charterholder and have completed an executive mini-MBA program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.I have travelled to more than 60 countries (including some very unusual ones) and am passionate about experiencing new cultures.
