In 2011, I decided to do something nutty and applied for an internationally televised marksmanship competition called Top Shot. It was nutty because I didn\'t have a lot of shooting experience prior to applying. But after training 25 hours/week for five months, I came out on top and won cash, the title of \"Top Shot,\" and a pro marksmanship contract with Bass Pro Shops.I\'m quick to learn new things and excel at the highest levels.My book \"Shoot to Win\" is targeted to the beginner marksman, but it\'s also layered with anecdotes and a life skills framework which has empowered me to succeed.I\'ve built my own business and brand and still work part-time in the firearms industry advocating for safety, education, and diversity.I am a multi-lingual, multi-cultural individual who is formally educated in international affairs & conflict negotiation. I enjoy the challenges that lie ahead, and thrive working in either a team atmosphere or having free range with a project. I thrive when working with people who are passionate about both work and play.
