As a Consolidated Veterans Service Representative (CVSR) in Northern Utah, I proudly serve as both a Disabled Veterans\' Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP) and a Local Veterans\' Employment Representative (LVER). My mission is to empower Veterans by connecting them with meaningful employment opportunities, providing personalized career services, and promoting hiring incentives to employers.I specialize in:Veteran Career Services: Offering tailored career counseling, resume writing, interview preparation, and translating military skills into civilian career paths.Employment Outreach: Partnering with employers, Workforce Development Specialists, and community organizations to create pathways for Veterans to succeed in the labor market.Event Coordination: Planning and facilitating job fairs, career development workshops, and networking events to connect Veterans with employers and resources.Case Management: Providing individualized support to help Veterans overcome barriers to employment, including accessing training, credentialing, and licensing opportunities.Employer Engagement: Promoting hiring incentives, on-the-job training programs, and apprenticeship opportunities to encourage Veteran employment.By combining outreach, collaboration, and personalized services, I help Utah Veterans gain the competitive edge they need to thrive in today’s workforce.
