My job is to be the dedicated nerd for an incredibly talented enterprise sales team. We are the world\'s leading manufacturer of fiber optic and copper structured cabling and wireless infrastructure. We build and support network infrastructure for the largest customers around. Fortune 50 corporate campuses; higher education; healthcare; large public venues like stadiums; even complicated outdoor network deployments. I\'m the trusted advisor for our customers and the partners that install these networks. We are entrusted with the responsibility to help design network infrastructure that will need to last decades, even if we don\'t yet know the technology that will run on them. I get to talk about fun things like the future of smart cities, explaining what 5G *really* is, or how an enterprise can build and deploy their own private LTE network. Not to mention, I\'m the de facto tour guide for the world\'s largest data grade cable manufacturing plant - right here in western NC!
