ABOUT ANTONY MOSS
I am currently Pro Vice Chancellor Education & Student Experience at London South Bank University and also Professor of Addictive Behaviour Science. I\'m also Deputy Director for PHIRST South Bank, an NIHR-funded national research centre which supports Local Authorities across the UK to conduct evaluations of public health interventions.Outside of my core academic role, I have broad experience in leadership, governance, and advisory roles across a range of settings. I am an experienced governor in the context of primary and secondary education settings, specialising in supporting young people with special educational needs. I also have experience in charities governance through my trusteeship with Alcohol Change UK, the UK’s leading charity with a remit to eliminate alcohol-related harms. In addition to the expertise I bring to my governance, leadership, and advisory roles, using my extensive experience as a senior leader, I am able to provide executive and leadership teams with constructive challenge and support. I approach these roles with a strong commitment to the Nolan Principles, and particularly value the importance of respecting and adhering to the principle of Collective Responsibility in my governance and leadership roles.
