Proposed and coordinated the last major U.S. cultural event in Russia in 2014 prior to the souring of bilateral relations: a 6 week sharing of Louisiana culture in Moscow and national tour involving 72 artists from a NOLA high school band to a Zydeco dance master, a photography exhibit, film series, top jazz musicians (of course) and a New Orleans master chef! As educator, I taught and later chaired the Graduate Arts Administration Program at the Univ of New Orleans, co-lead a popular negotiating workshop at industry conferences, multiple State Department lecture tours, and learned and shared over a number of weeks throughout Cambodia hosted by Cambodian Living Arts, under auspices of the Fulbright Program and the U.S. Embassy/Phnom Penh.
