Hello, I’m Tony Mei. I am currently a Facilities Engineer at ExxonMobil working on capital projects. Previously, I worked as a Production/Run Plant Engineer, supporting a Finishing Vulcanizable Polyethylene asset at the Dow Seadrift Operations Plant. My role focused on troubleshooting day to day operations, process optimization and improvements, and driving safe, reliable operations.I hold both a Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Tech. During my studies, I gained diverse industry exposure through internships and co-ops, including: • Battery Materials Development Intern at Ford Motor Company, contributing to electric vehicle and digital systems initiatives. • Engineering Co-op at Collins Aerospace, focusing on materials science and failure analysis.I am a curious, motivated professional who thrives on learning something new every day. I am especially fascinated by the broad applications of chemical engineering within manufacturing and am passionate about leveraging my skills in problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.Driven by perseverance and a strong will to succeed, I look forward to tackling new challenges, growing as a leader, and contributing to meaningful engineering solutions.
