   I have the privilege of leading a specialized DMV Policy team that drives company strategy for modernizing state laws, regulations, and departments of motor vehicles’ technology systems, and works with DMV and law enforcement partners to combat motor vehicle-related fraud. In this capacity, I own the strategic management of DMV relationships, balancing operational risks, such as regulatory compliance exposure, with opportunities for efficiency, process improvement, and innovation. I am responsible for ensuring first-person relationships with our DMV regulators, overseeing the \"DMV-fluent\" instant response to DMV inquiries, and collaborating with industry peers and partners to promote the best customer-centric DMV solutions. I also represent the ADESA line-of-business from a Government Affairs perspective.To execute this strategy, I leverage deep subject matter expertise to lead policy initiatives and manage DMV and industry relationships while ensuring the DMV Policy team provides resources and support to relevant Carvana teams. The DMV Policy team partners with internal operational teams to optimize existing processes and collaborate with fellow industry members to resolve regulatory issues and hurdles. The goal is to ensure Carvana is a recognized problem solver and trusted partner to combat fraud.
