About Tony Perez

I began my career in the utility industry while in college. That was when I realized how critical of a role utilities serve in enabling a sustainable future. This was at a time when sustainability was still a relatively new—and very much necessary—pathway for business. We needed to rethink how to be successful in a new economy being driven by a changing workforce and climate, technological innovation, and consumer expectations. Fast forward to today, my passion for utilities, sustainability, and electric mobility is what drives me to help achieve a vision for a future with clean, affordable, and reliable power. A future with equity and inclusion as a cornerstone for economic development, clean air, and smart cities. As a people-person, I enjoy working every day to help shape new programs, ideas, and strategies to create a better tomorrow for the people and communities of Arizona.
