About Tony Listro
Tony Listro is currently heading Leistritz Life Science+ business covering Pharma and Food market for the company. Previously, he was Vice President, Site Head of Sever Pharma Solutions’ Putnam, CT site. Sever Pharma Solutions (SPS) is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with manufacturing sites in Malmö, Sweden and Putnam, CT USA. SPS partners with small to large pharmaceutical and biotech companies to provide end-to-end solutions to develop, manufacture and characterize Polymer based dosage forms including dosages based on HPAPIs. SPS has deep knowledge of polymer materials and process technologies. It utilizes extrusion technologies to enhance solubility of poorly water-soluble molecules and to create implantable dosage forms. Prior to joining SPS, Tony held various business and technical leadership roles with Foster Delivery Science, Inc and Foster Corporation in Putnam, CT. He developed various drug products including oral and implantable dosage forms for more than 15 years. Tony earned his BS and MS in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, MA, and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. He holds 2 issued US patents and has authored and/or co-authored 20 publications.Specialties: Collaborating to help companies succeed in the areas of pharmaceutical melt extrusion, combination medical devices and implantable medical devices.
