Field Reimbursement Director @Takeda Oncology

Led navigation through reimbursement issues, with a focus on educating coordinating, and removing access barriers for patients and providers who have been prescribed a Takeda Oncology product. Responsibilities include the following: • Engaging with Here2Assist, our reimbursement HUB vendor • Educating appropriate internal and external stakeholders on coding and reimbursement processes for oral and buy-and-bill products • Managing community relationships with state oncology societies • Proactively and cross-functionally collaborating with Sales and other internal partners towards the achievement of business goals and meeting the unmet needs of our patients. • Establishing and managing Specialty Pharmacy relationships to understand trends and develop insights to support patient needs. • Proactively educating Sales teams and managed markets on observed key reimbursement updates and trends, as well as providing guidance on how to appropriately address account reimbursement concerns. • Educating Sales and Providers on the Evolving Oncology Practice Model (MACRA, Medicare/Medicaid Reform, Clinical Pathways, VBA/VBCs) • Conducting regular account review meetings that provide activity and trend analysis for use of HUB services and overall Takeda Oncology Products.
