I provide loss control consulting services to Xcel Energy facilities for Colorado fleet power plants - fossil (coal and/or N.G.). I perform inspections of power plants and other facilities to minimize exposure to financial loss and ensure compliance with corporate standards as well as applicable local, state and national codes. I prepare written technical assessments for internal Xcel Energy distribution as well as for the property insurance underwriting panel. I consult with building and plant personnel to implement fire safety, loss prevention, and equipment/process requirements for the purpose of reducing loss exposure. I conduct maximum foreseeable and anticipated loss studies.
