About Antonio Garza

Worked in the Pentagon for about four years on Air Force Acquisition (SAF/AQ) but wanted to take my career more technical and into the space/aerospace field. So I moved to Houston and got a job with Booz Allen Hamilton which had contracts with NASA on the International Space Station Program. In September 2007 I jumped from the ISS Program to NASA\'s Crew Exploration Vehicle, Orion, working in the Orion Modeling and Simulation office. Then in 2010 I moved back to ISS Program as the Vehicle Configuration Lead for two different SE & I contracts. In September 2018 I moved from ISS to NASA Exploration Mission Planning Office as a data scientist helping NASA solve big data and visualization problems that allowed our office to take trajectory data and visualize mission availability across multiple mission scenarios/profiles and terabytes of data. My team was also instrumental in bringing mission critical, high performance computing to JSC Engineering which was instrumental in the on-time launch of Artemis I. Currently leading Booz Allen\'s Mission Engineering and Digital Transformation efforts for NASA Human Spaceflight and helping bridge the gap between NASA’s engineers and our cloud architects and data scientists. Provide digital solutions and assessments to Johnson Space Center as well as NASA\'s Information, Data, and Analytic Services (IDAS) service line within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Operations Division Service Line. Also, started up a salsa band in 2001, La Orquesta Salmerum. Still occasionally gigging.
