My specialties include lighting design, illumination engineering, color science, color discrimination, IES TM-30, human factors, integrative lighting, spectral modeling, circadian metrics, statistics, experimental design, technical writing and communication, and Excel development. I am an Assistant Professor in the Durham School of Architectural Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Founder and Head Research Scientist at Lighting Research Solutions LLC, a lighting consultancy providing services in research, education, and development, and former Director and Light Concept Lead at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
