   Route1, which also operates under the trade names GroupMobile and PCS Mobile, is North America\'s most advanced provider of industrial-grade intelligence, user authentication, and ultra-secure mobile workforce solutions. As a company, we help all manner of organizations, from government and military to the private sector, to make intelligent use of devices and data for immediate process improvements — while maintaining the highest level of cyber security. I was brought in to Route1 to turn their new state-of-the-art security technology into a viable business. To create that transformation, I addressed all aspects of the organization — I streamlined the cost structure to match the recurring revenue generated by the business, rebuilt relationships with core accounts and other key stakeholders, and established a highly focused sales and marketing plan, and I did it with limited human and cash resources. In my first three years with the business, I improved the operating performance from a net loss of CAD$3.4 million to a net profit of CAD$2.2 million, on a revenue base of less than CAD$10 million per annum. Over the last decade, I\'ve worked hard to reshape Route1 — from an independent software provider with one technology, to a full-service solutions provider that delivers ultra-secure mobile workforce, user authentication, and data intelligence to our clients. We\'ve launched five new security and data analytics-based software applications and pivoted our focus toward building an outcomes-based business where we provide our clients with cutting-edge technology products and services that deliver long-term solutions for their organization.
