ABOUT TONY BRETT
I am The University of Oxford\'s Chief Information Security Officer. I lead the central InfoSec team which includes our OxCERT Security Operations Centre (detect, respond, recover) and our Governance, Risk and Compliance Team (Govern, Identify, Protect). I base our work and planning on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. I hold the CISSP qualification.I also regularly use skills in Recruitment; Information Security and Governance; Business Relationship Management; Strategic Risk Management, Data Protection; ITILv4 and Project Management.In my previous role as the leader of the 3-site, 22-strong Medical Sciences Division IT Services I took great pleasure in using my skills of strategy and governance review and planning; business relationship management; and IT staff management & career development to ensure we continue to enable the research, teaching and administration of the Medical Sciences Division of Oxford University as effectively as possible.Outside work I chair the Local Governing Body of a local secondary school and am a keen choral singer, although rarely both at the same time!
