   As an Outsourced Controller and Finance Manager, I support clients’ needs for financial expertise that cannot be filled in-house. I work across industries and focus on small business, while also supporting larger businesses. As described above, I focus on three areas: Accounting & Performance Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Strategic PlanningAssignments range from conducting timely and accurate month-end close functions to developing longer-term financial models and business plans. Some examples:• Examining five years of financial statement and other data for a beauty business and then coming up with a new hybrid compensation model, forecast, and career path for employees, along with reconfiguring staff and space utilization. • Driving process improvements for a start-up government contractor. I worked with the Finance Director to determine the state of accounting/finance processes currently in place. Working as a team, we devised and then documented new processes that would be sustainable through the company’s growth phase. • Serving as an Interim Controller for an apparel manufacturer during an equity-raising phase. I “hit the ground running”and keep the working capital management, budgeting, and forecasting on track and communicated with all during this critical time. Through my partner Sherman Carter, our firm provides outsourced CFO services. For example, we can revamp a corporation’s capital structure, help raise capital, and partner with the C-Suite on driving P&L results.
