I am the Chief Operating Officer for Envision Lead Grow, Inc.(ELG), a nonprofit organization headquartered in The Mustard Seed Place in Old Town Portsmouth, VA. ELG inspires women and girls through economic empowerment.ELG’s vision is to transform communities of poverty into communities of prosperity through thepromise of girls and women. Since its inception in 2017, our program serving Girl Bosses(middle and high schoolers), has reached more than 2,800 young girls in 48 states withthe support of over local volunteer hours. Those graduates have grown businesses whilefinding their way through college and career paths.
