Excited by our recent acquisition by Eaton, I am keen to explore the synergies that we both have. Previously appointed as an Ultra Fellow, I am an accomplished and respected Technology Director with experience spanning the full engineering lifecycle, strategic business planning and team management. Proven ability to deliver at both strategic and tactical levels, working in both local and customer environments.During my 25 year career at Ultra Electronics, I have become well known in the Land Systems community and currently sit on all of the UK MOD Land Open Systems Architecture (LOSA) Technical working groups. These working groups are responsible for creating the Generic Vehicle, Base and Soldier Architecture standards as well as a NATO standard for Vehicle Architecture as part of a MILVA working group.I led our work in Soldier Systems and am proud of the team that created UltraLynx, a software defined hub destined to revolutionise soldier system integration (now owned by Invisio).I was been responsible for creating UltraNIMBUS, our brain computer interface concept that has been a popular hit on Bloomberg!Now actively promoting our Electronic Architecture Kit (UltraEAK) and revolutionary Platform Gateway Interface software (Ultra PGI), we are targeting the fighting vehicle market in the UK and internationally with our Generic Vehicle Architecture (GVA) solution.Finally, I have written several technical papers and presented at numerous international defence related conferences.
