About Tony Wassouf

A Supply Chain Management professional and a Wayne State University Alumni, working to make a difference in everything I do to maximize success. At FCA LLC, my responsibility consists of leading a team of material handlers that deliver small lot and bulk material to the production line in order to maximize build output while maintaining high quality product. The safety and well being of the material handlers is also an important aspect of my position. Another responsibility of mine is cross-training and coaching team members for work flexibility. Creating and implementing Kaizens to deploy cost through improving processes and increasing safety measures is another duty of a material supervisor. At Meritor, of many responsibilities, I was in charge of the appropriation request process, which includes updating Capital Plan database, Global Appropriation Requests database, and managing SharePoint site that was mainly developed for this purpose. DENSO International America, Inc. has taught me many valuable skills. One of my many responsibilities was commercial debits recovery, which required constant communication with the customers and our globally spread plants. Over the period I recouped over 50% of all debits exceeding management expectations. Prior to DENSO, I had interned for materials at Magna International, where front-end module were assembled. I worked with shipping and receiving and inventory control to ensure proper supply chain execution. If you were to ask my colleagues, they’ll describe me as a hardworking type. To me, a fast-paced working environment is a preference. I enjoy absorbing new processes and techniques and my previous experience brands me as a customer-focused individual.
