About Tony Tran

I am a physical therapist at Kaiser Permanente – Mission Bay, committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to support patients in returning to high level sports. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a Volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCSF/SFSU Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, where I enjoy teaching, mentoring, and helping develop the next generation of clinicians.I also own and operate After Hours Physical Therapy, a private consulting practice designed to meet the needs of working professionals. My mobile clinic provides convenient, patient-centered access to care without the constraints of traditional clinic hours.My clinical and academic interests include preventative care, pre-habilitation, biomechanics of overhead athletes, and the clinical applications of altered/virtual reality in rehabilitation. I am passionate about integrating emerging technologies and evidence-based practices to advance patient outcomes.Beyond direct patient care, I bring experience in healthcare consulting where I’ve contributed to strategic initiatives, operational optimization, and technology-driven solutions aimed at improving the delivery and efficiency of musculoskeletal care.
