About Tony Thomas

Tony Thomas is an experienced trial attorney and former Captain in the United States Marine Corps. He has tried several catastrophic injury and wrongful death products liability actions, high value consumer warranty actions, and general civil litigation cases in both state and federal court. His technical knowledge has proven valuable in effectively defending the design and manufacture of motor vehicles in rollover crashes, cruise control recalls and fire cases. He has also defended manufacturers of motorcycles, industrial equipment and personal watercrafts often facing multimillion dollar high-exposure claims. Additionally, Tony has represented major corporations in environmental cost recovery actions, toxic tort actions, commercial litigation, asbestos actions (friction and non-friction) and construction defect cases. As co-counsel for a major automotive client, Tony tried to verdict a catastrophic injuries/wrongful death case involving a steering knuckle defect allegation. He also defended a motor vehicle manufacturer in a federal court case involving a paraplegic with a seatbelt defect allegation. Tony has also served as national warranty counsel for a transmission manufacturer. While serving in the United States Marine Corps, Tony served in various billets including Trial Counsel, Defense Counsel and Deputy Staff Judge Advocate. He participated in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
