I have nearly 40 years experience as a newspaper reporter and editor, including 22 years at The Washington Post, where I edited articles that won several Pulitzer Prizes. I was the founding director of the Humphrey Family Writing Center at The Hill School, a prestigious independent school in Pennsylvania, where I also taught journalism and English. I have also worked as an editor on five books, including \"On Her Game,\" by Christine Brennan, that debuted at No. 2 on the New York Times nonfiction best-seller list in 2025.
