And some of the first. Here are few of the systems my teams developed and shipped successfully- SP Cable HW development - SP core router development (NCS6K), system hardware (boards, FPGA, ASIC, optics) development of a multi-chassis router - SP aggregation/edge router development (ASR-9K), my team developed chassis/ Route Switch Processor/ Switch fabric, nx100GE/40GE/10GE/1GE Linecard, FPGA, power and cooling. ASR-9K product line is the Cisco Edge Routers. Among these are 40-Tb router introduced in 2012, a first capable of scaling to 1.6 Petabit and network appliance cards such as video server and packet inspection - Cisco CRS core router series, all physical layer subsystems (Board, ASIC, FPGA). OC768 among these was a first in 2004. So was 4x10GE in 2003. My team developed 3 very large ASICs as part of this development-12416 GSR Multi-Service Router Architecture Contributed to architecture development of a multi-terabit switch. Control and Management planes architecture, CPU specification, Board design specification, data plane ASIC micro-architecture, VOQ, TM, and fabric interface
