I am a lead technologist with ample leadership experience in high throughput microbiology and cellular biology laboratories. I have performed microbiological and cellular methods and analysis in a BSL2 ISO: 17025/GLP conforming environment producing high quality, traceable results for over five years. Also, I have been appointed as a trainer and work closely with higher management and scientists in the implementation of new technologies and methods in the lab. I am excited to acquire knowledge about new technological advancements in the biotechnology sector and hope to bring my experience and expertise to contribute to growing businesses. Due to my excellent ability to multi-task, communicate effectively as well as to problem solve and troubleshoot efficiently, I am a first point of contact within the lab setting as well when dealing with more managerial and administrative situations. I easily adapt to new and changing environments while always maintaining a positive outlook and ensuring that the work environment is a pleasant one. I am a quick learner, who becomes proficient and efficient at any task that I am faced with, even during my education I became adept quickly while doing molecular biology work including RNA extractions, PCR and gel electrophoresis.
