HSSE controller / Works Controller / Building Manager for Wood Nuclear based at Warrington • Acting as the HSSE team permitting focal point• Prepare and own the procedure for identifying HSSE permitting requirements in liaison with HSSE team• Acting as single point of contact for managed buildings and cover for other building managers when required.• Control of statutory inspections within managed buildings from LOLER inspections to fixed wire testing.• Have a working relationship with counterparties within regulatory authorities and undertake liaison to track progression of permits, clarification requests and closure/issue of permits• Report HSSE performance and KPI’s to senior leadership team• Develop customer relations and implementing new customer/client contracts• Project Manager for refurbishment work within the business, projects included 5 new laboratories being built, New 44 desk office built internally within a warehouse. Refurbishment of toilet blocks within the engineering buildings• Sourcing and procurement of equipment controlling cost and budget.• Building Manager for 3 engineering buildings controlling all aspects of H&S, remedial work required and work management within the buildings.• Writing technical specifications for refurbishment and new construction works on the Birchwood site and sourcing quotes from approved vendors
