About Tony Kuric

Born in Zadar, Croatia. Moved to Auckland, New Zealand at a young age where I attended elementary school through high school. With a clear vision and future career goals established, I attended architectural drawing classes starting in middle school, gaining experience in drafting and design from a young age. At the high school level, I obtained the National Certificate of Educational Achievement, specializing in: Architectural Drawing & Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, Metal & Woodwork, and Engineering, gaining University entrance into any school in the country.Despite the educational opportunities following my completion of high school in New Zealand, I returned to my birthplace Croatia. After a 4-year period back in my hometown of Zadar, where I gained further experience in design, attending the Ivora-Cambridge IT school, specializing in the Adobe Creative Suite, I was accepted into the School of Architecture at New York Institute of Technology in Manhattan. I graduated from NYIT in 2016 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, achieving the Dean’s Architectural Excellence Award during my thesis year.During my final semester, I interned at the award-winning practice Morris Adjmi Architects, which lead to a full-time position following graduation. During my time at MA, I worked on 7 large scale residential & mixed-use projects, and I completed 3 ground-up projects, from design through construction - which included collaboration with clients such as Related Companies, Turnberry & have been sold by Real Estate giants such as Ryan Serhant & The Corcoran Group.Following my career at Morris Adjmi Architects, I accepted a position at the world-renowned practice Kohn Pedersen Fox to lead projects in the Residential Studio out of the New York City office. A major step & chapter in my professional career where I look to contribute to major projects in the ever-growing skyline of New York City & other cities around the world.In 2024, I established my own company - in parallel to my architectural career at KPF - K A D - Kuric Architectural Drafting, which provides drafting services for Real Estate Companies.
