ABOUT TONY JOHNSTON
Tony Johnston is a partner in Willkie’s Corporate & Financial Services Department and Private Equity Practice Group and is based in the Firm’s Dallas office. Tony advises private equity firms, portfolio companies, family offices and corporate clients on strategically important and complex transactions, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sector. He regularly advises on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial sponsor-management team partnerships, preferred equity and other minority investments, and recapitalizations and restructurings for clients across the energy spectrum – ranging from oil and gas to energy transition matters. He also guides private equity firms and their funds throughout their life cycles, including through the formation, investment and monetization
