I am a digital therapeutics leader using my 30+ years experience in translating cognitive science and clinical cognitive neuroscience into leading cross-functional teams that develop and commercialize digital medicines for cognitive challenges or impairments and brain injury, disease or degeneration. As VP, Head of Cognitive Science at Akili I led the translation of science into commercial products by working closely our game studio, marketing, regulatory, legal and all the other teams leading the cognitive DTx field with the FDA authorized EndeavorRx for children and adolescents and it\'s adult \'over the counter\" version, EndeavorOTC. With our data science team, I led the development of \"Focus Score\", the first commercially available, clinically-validated, personalized, objective measurement of attentional functioning.I spent over 20 years as a federally-funded principal investigator, team-builder and leader, studying and creating intervention programs for cognitive impairments and psychiatric conditions in neurogenetic conditions. I Co-Founded and was CEO of Cognivive, Inc, where we translated scientific and clinical evidence into home-use, contactless neurotherapeutics for impairments arising from atypical brain development, brain injury, and neurodegneration, delivered as commercial-quality virtual reality games.
