Deputy Program Manager and Chief Systems Engineer for the SERENITYNOW program. As the Deputy Program Manager I oversee the day-to-day personnel and operations for my portfolio, to include Technical Task Orders, schedules and budgets. As the Chief Engineer I ensure that our customer requirements and expectations are managed to produce the best systems possible. Responsible for subsystem and system level requirements review and the application of the results of the requirements analysis to the design, integration and test of state-of-the-art telecommunications collection and processing systems. Knowledge of the multiple facets of modern digital communications systems and signals and apply that knowledge to the design and test efforts. Involved in the design, development, integration, installation, testing and documentation of these analog/digital communications systems. Responsible for the hardware integration and testing of the system and subsystems according to formal test procedures (DT & E and OT & E). Additional duties include problem resolution, troubleshooting and repairing systems to the component level. Support the fabrication and integration of system and subsystem to include racking, cabling, electrical wiring and testing. Assists other engineers in system design to include fabrication and design of prototypes. Includes sheet metal, schematics, drawings, manuals and training for the system. Provides in-depth technical support to the documentation and training people assigned to my projects.
