ABOUT TONY HAYES

During my career in quality assurance I have been able to gain the knowledge and skills required to make effective and accurate decisions in the field of pipe and coating inspection. During my employment, I have worked in several different venues and in locations throughout the country including coating mills, pipe mills, refineries and pipeline construction. On most occasions, my job has required me to work directly with technicians and production personnel. This has allowed me to gain an understanding of several testing and production practices. Additionally, while working in the capacity of a coating inspector, I have had the opportunity to witness and document the destructive testing of coating applications in a laboratory environment As an inspector I also realize the importance of possessing the proper tools required to quantify and qualify any discontinuities discovered during the inspection process. With this in mind I have purchased and maintain the necessary measuring devices, tools, and etc. needed for proper inspection. I have always been committed to performing my job duties in a professional manner. I understand the importance of the responsibilities entrusted to an inspector and fully appreciate the significance of accurate and correct quality judgments with regard to pipe and coating quality assurance.
