   Over-all supervisor of the operational system of the plant including Fabrication, Milling and Turning Departments. Responsible for planning, organizing, and regulating the production and maintenance operations to guarantee effective return on capital. Implementing manufacturing strategies and actions for the accomplishment of plant production goals and to encourage the use of new techniques and concentrate on fact-based problem solving. Responsible for training, selecting, and motivating plant supervisory staff, machine operators and general labor. As a primary leader, my social connections within the plant community need to be strong and effective. Also responsible for administering performance assessments for your direct reports as well as ensuring they do so for their subordinates. It is also very important that any complaints from employees are followed up on and addressed in a fair and timely manner. In addition, I utilize manpower, facilities, equipment, materials and assets to ensure minimal manufacturing errors and waste. This includes initiative plans and assurance of attaining business objectives and production schedules while maintaining quality product standards. Coordination of operations so as to best serve the departments affected by the output of the plant including Sales, Assembly and Shipping.
