ABOUT TONY BARRETT

I’m excited to let everyone know that I’m now part of the Capital Rx family as Vice President-Strategy.After spending 17 yearSs at Apple in leadership roles, I’m now entering my 20th year in the healthcare/pharmacy business. Everything I learned at Apple about disruption and innovation I’ve brought forward to my healthcare/pharmacy career. Watching Steve Jobs dismantle and recreate entire industries were profound lessons for me. The PBM business has been basically the same for the past 20 years and in need of transformational change. I’ve been stunned over the years seeing plan sponsors accept the business models for the PBM industry. Everyone seems to be resigned in thinking that nothing will change, and they must adopt current models. Capital Rx has embarked on the same journey as Apple to “Think Different” about how PBM services are delivered. Of course, transforming a $500+ billion industry takes time, but we have a line of sight on how to transform all the moving parts of the pharmacy supply chain. Stay tuned as you watch us build the essential building blocks which will unfold over time.Come check us
