Altrad RMD Kwikform provide solutions for many bespoke applications from contact with the customer, we supply the designs and equipment to make ideas and even dreams possible, we provide Formwork, Falsework and Groundwork solutions.My role is to maintain all Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities across the whole of the UK. we have 8 branches that are strategically positioned to support the whole of the UK.We have 3 ISO Standards ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 and these are maintained through a consistent approach of Auditing, checking and monitoring to ensure we remain compliant.We are now working towards World Class in Health, Safety & the Environment by beginning the journey of our Safety Roadmap & Behavioural Safety training working with the whole business, to change perceptions of risk and hazards and reseting expectations towards safety and the environment, working towards interdependencies. One big team in support of one another.

I have spent over 25 years in Health, Safety and Environment through this I understand and care about the health and safety of fellow employees and continuously work towards a better and even more sustainable Environment.Delivering a multitude of training packages, presentations and encouraging open debate. Implementing International Standards ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 understanding the requirements and integrating with to fully complete a holistic standards system, this benefits all as we work to one common standard with continual improvement in all areas.I enjoy working through understanding underlying issues, that will then enable a more robust and efficient working environment in all areas of the business.Safety culture transformation is my true passion and I have changed past cultures from \"Them and Us\" to we are all in this together, it makes a difference and prevents single minded attitudes and changes the thought process to interdependant attitudes. We all have a part to play in enabling the health and safety of our employees and protection of the environment and reducing our carbon emissions.Personal responsibility will always be a key indicator of the culture.You can measure safety with Indicators and KPI\'s but the true test is speaking with people and allowing them to give you their understanding of what safety means to them, Hearts & Minds this was a common tactic used by the Special Air Service by winning the hearts and minds of the people and listening to them and by offering assistance, they then begin to listen to you and give back the same, this is a true cultural change process and all you need to do is listen. One tool that is often not used in Health and Safety.
