Commercial banking is a relationship-based business. Striking a balance between technology and humanity is critical - clients relate to people, not algorithms. Organic GrowthI drive organic growth of loans, core deposits and non-interest income. Sometimes a new strategy is required. Other times, re-positioning existing strengths - or building new ones – allow for true market differentiation. This, tied to effective performance management, recruiting and developing people are prerequisite to improved financial performance. People want to be part of something bigger than themselves. Work provides that when aligned with a mission that contributes to a common good. I am also influenced by the early work of Senn Delaney – a culture shaping firm, Patrick Lencioni, Simon Sinek, Alan Carroll, et al. Real leaders build cultures that motivate people to achieve great things. I love what I do: helping companies succeed and developing people. This is my passion.
