Reporting to and working closely with the CFO, I provide day-to-day leadership to the finance team to ensure financial operations run smoothly, with key areas of focus and oversight including FP & A, stakeholder management, corporate accounting and compliance, payroll and treasury. Frontier Developments are a listed (AIM: FDEV) video games developer and publisher operating in global markets with annual revenue in excess of £100m generated from its diverse portfolio of video games. The group includes UK, US and Canadian entities and has experienced significant growth since inception in 1994, with current headcount of over 900 people.Key responsibilities- Joint leadership of the finance team (total of six reports) and working closely with the Head of Financial Operations and Corporate Tax to ensure smooth running of finance team, including one direct report- Work closely with C-suite and the Board in order to design and execute business strategy and part of the SMT- Deputise for the CFO with internal and external stakeholders where required- Lead on FP & A, including annual budgets, regular forecasts and risk management- Key finance contact for IP partners (Universal, Sony, F1, Games Workshop)- Support the CFO on M&A projects- Lead on the production of the Annual Report and Accounts and the Interim Results- Lead all audit processes, including the annual external audit and preparation of accounting papers for the Audit Committee and external auditors for support on key accounting topics- Lead on company secretarial responsibilities, including share option (EMI, CSOP, LTIP, RSU, Sharesave) and EBT administration and RNSs required to the market- Key contact for treasury counterparties and monitoring, forecasting and hedging cash flow in multiple currencies (GBP, USD, EUR, CAD)- Oversight and review of all sales and payroll processes and taxes (VAT, monthly payroll, P11D, PSA)- General awareness to complex corporation tax arrangements (VGTR, RDEC)
