Community Associations Institute (CAI) is an international organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent, harmonious community associations. For more than 35 years, CAI has been the leader in providing education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern community associations and the professionals who support them. Our members include community association volunteer leaders, professional managers, community management firms and other professionals and companies that provide products and services to associations.CAI represents over members across the U.S. and around the world through our international programs and 60 local chapters.Since arriving at CAI, I have led a comprehensive transformation of the organization including redesign of the membership structure, rebranding of all publications, documents, and other public materials, restructuring of the organizations governance with the implementation of John Carver\'s Policy Governance Model, and selection and implementation of an entirely new association management system and web presence. Most recently, we have embarked on a program to expand CAI programs and activities internationally through partnerships with groups and individuals in a number of countries including Australia, Canada, Dubai, Qatar, and South Africa.
