I am a Legal Director in Kennedys\' Property Energy & Construction team, based in the London office.I advise London Market and global insurers/reinsurers on coverage and subrogation in relation to various lines of business, but with a specialism in energy (upstream and downstream) and construction claims.I have worked on a variety of major first party claims concerning total losses of and physical damage to drilling rigs, production platforms, FPSOs, microtunnel boring machines (MTBMs), petrochemical plants, solar power plants, bio waste plants, and gas turbines, as well as associated claims for various kinds of consequential financial loss (BI, DSU, and LOPI).I also advise on third party liability claims, often related to the energy and construction sectors, and have been involved in claims concerning well blowouts, damage to power generation equipment, and high profile oil spills in the Caribbean and offshore Peru.I regularly deal with claims under Subcontractor Insurance (SDI) policies, as well as claims under CAR/EAR policies.
