ABOUT CRAIG TOMON

I’m a professionally licensed architect who works at the intersection of design, technology, and construction. My background blends hands-on field experience with a deep commitment to integrating digital tools into the design process. My goal is to help bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution. With just shy of two decades of experience in architecture, fabrication, and construction, I bring a unique perspective to every project. My focus includes computational workflows, high-LOD BIM modeling, and the coordination of complex building systems—particularly around the core and shell. I’ve led digital design initiatives within project teams, assisted in developing firmwide production standards, and supported project delivery across a range of sectors including civic, recreation, healthcare, religious, and multi-family.I’m particularly interested in how tools like Rhino, Grasshopper, and Rhino.Inside Revit can support design clarity and coordination from concept through construction. I’ve also contributed to environmental analysis, panelized system design, and digital fabrication efforts.Whether I’m working with consultants to resolve complex detailing or coaching teams through better digital workflows, I focus on practical solutions that elevate both the design process and the final product. I value collaboration, rigor, and the craft of building—and I’m always looking for new ways to connect the digital and physical in meaningful, efficient ways.
