Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients going through cardiovascular surgery and cardiac catheterization • Administer blood products and other intravenous infusions like TPN, Bumex, and heparin drip, then monitor for adverse reactions • Manage invasive devices such as colostomy, intravenous catheters, NG tubes, and PCA pumps • Care for patients with cardiac conditions like heart failure, pacemakers, angioplasty, and PCI • Monitor telemetry of patients with cardiac arrhythmia, provide patient education, and administer prescribed interventions
