Provides open source intelligence research and analysis to asses threats, incidents,and inappropriate communication to United States Marshals protected persons/interests.• Consolidate, analyzes and evaluates incoming data from Deputy U.S. Marshals andcreates a clear and concise report detailing any open source research that has beencompleted.• Reviews and evaluates all intelligence research reports that come through the OpenSource Intelligence Unit providing feedback and guidance to junior analysts.• Ability to work with team members both senior and junior on special projects duringemergency situations and periods of civil unrest to include analyzing threats madeover all social media platforms.• Develops and conducts research plans on ways to improve the overall mission of theOpen Source Intelligence Unit with other members of the Department of Justice.• Independently and on a team conduct threat assessments or On-line exposure assessmentsfor United States Marshals service protected persons/interests.• Maintains the highest levels of accuracy when it comes to research with clear and concisereporting detailing all work and how the information was gathered.• Knowledge of the working relationship among Federal, Foreign, and State jurisdictionsand how to assist in critical missions that could require working together for thegreater good.• Interfaces with TECS, JDIS, Capture, Whooster, LexisNexis, PACER, Leep, Bier, Silo, PIX,NCIC, CLEAR, FINCEN, and other Investigatory systems.
