ABOUT TOMMY
I found my passion within leadership and helping others succeed. I am currently attending University of Calgary pursuing a degree in Accounting in hopes of finding myself lost within the busy business world. I am in my fourth year, on track to graduate on time and pursue a CPA designation, which will help me qualify to work at a large firm. I have learned a large array of skills at my stay at the University of Calgary, ranging from business analytics, human resources, Microsoft Excel, Entrepreneurship, but mainly specializing in financial and managerial accounting. This journey however, hasn\'t been easy and straightforward. University has unveiled many hurdles and challenges, but by the end, they have all turned into important life lessons. Each challenge that I\'ve overcome has humbled me, and turned me into a more well rounded and professional individual. I would be privileged and willing to take on the challenge of applying all of my current knowledge to the real world. Inadvertently, I hope these future challenges provide me with more experience and learning. I am currently looking for accounting based internships for 2021 & 2022 (4-8 month terms)
