ABOUT TOMMY GREGORY
I am a driven Transport Planner that aims to find the most appropriate and effective solutions to any transport and highway related issues to a proposed development, in order to provide the best outcome for each planning application I work on. To date, I have strong experience in producing a variety of reports including Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Technical Notes and Travel Plans for a range of sectors including residential, commercial industrial, retail and educational. I also have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD which has enabled me to achieve a strong understanding of the transport and highway related tasks undertaken using the software including- Masterplan assistance - T-junction access design - Ghost island access design - Carriageway realignment - Roundabout design - Forward/horizontal visibility splays - Swept path analysis I have recently undertaken a more client-facing role with the experienced I have gained, which has also led me to manage my own projects whilst communicating with Clients, suppliers and local highway authority representatives alike to provide the strongest justification that can be provided to succeed in planning approval for each project based on transport grounds. I am also a qualified Road Safety Auditor, a member of SORSA and have achieved the NH Certificate of Competency in Road Safety Auditing.
