Thomas (Tommy) Della Rocco brings over three decades of leadership in system engineering, network infrastructure, and customer operations. His career spans nearly every layer of the communications ecosystem—from satellite earth stations and microwave networks to broadband cable, cellular systems, telephony, IP networks, fixed wireless, and unified IT solutions.Tommy currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Watch Communications, overseeing the operational strategy for a rapidly expanding rural broadband provider. Prior to this, he served as COO of ConVergence Technologies, SVP at OMGFAST (a Cablevision business unit), CTO of Clearband, and SVP of Networks for CoreComm-ATX Communications and NTL (now Virgin Media). He also held key network leadership roles with Cellular Communications Inc.(Cellular One) and Cellular Communications of Puerto Rico, following his early engineering work with ETS and Harris Satellite Communications.Over the years, Tommy has led high-performing technical and operations teams in multiple high-growth ventures:Cellular (1984–1993): Helped launch and scale networks serving over subscribers.Broadband/Cable (1993–1998): Led deployment and operations for more than subscribers in the UK.CLEC/BLEC (1998–2005): Managed networks delivering service to over customers.Wireless Broadband (2005–2014): Supported up to subscribers with ProCapital and Cablevision.Technology Partner (2014–Present): Provides IT, VoIP, broadband, and hardware integration for small to mid-sized telecom carriers.Tommy began his career as a Field Engineer with Harris Satellite Communications, constructing domestic and international earth stations, as well as AM/FM and TV rebroadcast towers across Sudan, Uganda, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia.He holds an AS in Mechanical Engineering, pursued further studies at the University of Central Florida, is a licensed Florida General Contractor, and is a graduate of the Institute of Directors in London, England.
