As an STD Regional Consultant at Georgia Department of Public Health, I serve as a primary point of contact and a technical advisor for assigned health districts on disease intervention and case management. With over 25 years of experience in the field, I have a strong background in public health, community health, and case management, as well as multiple certifications related to STD/HIV prevention and linkage to care.In my current role, I review and monitor all STD/HIV cases for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, and provide guidance and recommendations on partner services activities. I also participate in outreach events and health fairs and collaborate with community-based organizations and other stakeholders. My mission is to reduce the transmission and impact of STD/HIV in Georgia and to empower and educate clients and the public on sexual health and wellness.
